Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of cassis, garrigue, blueberry jam, brambleberry pie, vanilla, baking spices and cocoa; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate has fruit payoff and addition of cocoa; long finish; a refined Australian fruit bomb

Medium red with a hint of brick red. Spice, plum and brambles. A reductive profile and a hint of herb. Juicy broad palate. Almost salty or umami. Rather fat for the weight. Very soft or silky tannins. Palate is short.

Very nice wine @ our favorite cheese and charcuterie place! Medium red color. Bright, fresh nose. Very fruit forward wine. Cherries, strawberries, and plenty of spice. More Pinot than Shiraz. Was just what we were looking for this afternoon. Give it a try!

Dark ruby, medium-intensity yet almost translucent. An attractive nose of baked, spiced plums, with sweet vanilla. On the palate, marvellously full and plush, with sweet oak underpinning the fruit. Not much if any tannins, and just enough acidity to keep it fresh. Very good length. A well-made wine! 14.5%, screwcap. (After having a second glass, with roast chicken rather than by itself, I have come back and demoted this from 90 to 89. Drinking it with food - which is what I normally do with wine - emphasised the high alcohol and an almost spirity character that I found less impressive.

Australian Far From Ordinary Tasting (Chicago Athletic Association - Chicago IL): Walkaround tasting, brief note. Interesting and nuanced mostly red fruit aromas and flavors, coming across as so fun now and well balanced with good depth, medium length.
