Atkin Chardonnay Comparative tasting (Lismore): (Tasted Blind): Pleasant lifted perfume with green apple. Not hugely intense, and the palate reflects this is coming across as a little watery and lacking any weight/concentration, with underwhelming fruit. What there was seemed a little green, and the sharp acidity overshadowed the fruit and complexity. I was thinking of England again or Chablis. As the wine settled in glass, there was a slightly aldehydic/bruised character.
