  • Black cherry, black raspberry and spice notes on the nose. Between medium and full bodied with black cherry upfront and real depth of mixed blackfruit notes through the middle. Blackberry notes come in strongly on the backside and especially through the middle this creates an overall sense of very good balance. This is further supported by fine grained tannins, light spices and excellent and lengthy mineral notes through the finish. Showing well at present, but given how well the 2012 and the 2004 drank for me in the past few years, I'd say this wine is clearly still on the upswing and can continue to evolve positively and interestingly over the next few years.

  • 14% alc., 1/2h decanted. Shining black purple color. On the nose black berry fruits. On the palate ultra fine tannins, power and concentration, very good structure, brilliant balance, very harmonious, drink animating, hedonistic, some fine chocolate, some hints of tobacco, reminds me of Pomerol, La Conseillante combined with a touch Trotanoy, albeit with less complexity and depth. So sexy and a lot of fun to drink now!

Perhaps and hopefully the wine will even gain in complexity and depth as it matures.
