Mystery wine evening (@Private location): *** only for my memory, no detailed note or rating *** Glass: Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux Tasted double blind. Surprisingly young, a bit freaky, mineral, dense. Nice, but not my favorite wine style.

A Good Monday, Vol II:: This just needs time. It's got great material, it's just not all integrated and fleshed out right now and might be shut down a bit. These wines take forever.

Académie des Cinquante Italy Tasting (Restaurant de Watergeus, Noorden, NL): Tasted blind. Pale colour, rich but refined style, extremely classy, everything in place, citrus, gentle wood, “ruht in sich” ("sovereign" is the best translation I can think of), pure and relaxed, such elegance and finesse, flowing from the palate to the long and dreamy finish over the most delicate bitters.
