{screwcap, 14.5%} Rustic, like a rusty gate. Black plums, tobacco, cranberry, earth. Distinct country bumpkin quality to this, but comforting in every way.. Low acid, loose-knit but quite low level gritty graphite tannins. Medium weight, warmly alcoholic finish. Not quite sweet, but lavish and rich all the same. A wallowing wine, not a considered one.
{Screwcap, 14.5%} A hint of brick. Nose and palate of earth, tobacco, rotten strawberries, compost. Gets sweeter in the glass, as is the Australian way. Medium weight, lowish acidity, increasing rustic sweetness of fruit. Mild, dusty tannins, never oaky. Medium length finish, not really complex but evolving already. Wallow and enjoy. Some more years won't hurt.

Earthy, savoury notes. Excellent drinking now. Fascinated to see how this develops in say another 5 years.
