10 months since last bottle, opened 1/2 hour prior but not decanted. Chambord liqueur on the palate followed with a diluted bourbon finish, let's say E.H. Taylor small batch on the rocks last sip. Seems like the sweet fruit has dissipated and left with more itinerary notes of bourbon, some vanilla and subdued caramel notes with Chambord. Very different wine from last tasting but still enjoyed.

First time having a Williams Selyem Zinfandel and it's a really good wine. Would never purchase them at retail, but they're only $60 (still expensive though) if you're on their mailing list.

Spicy, chalky, rich red fruit aromas, notes of red currant, strawberry, dried flowers, plum and blackberry. Intense, full and slightly tart red cherry, red currant, raspberry and cranberry flavors with some lingering spice and bramble notes. Really long, sticky finish. Decent alcohol, but not overbearing. Really digging the tart / sour / crunchy red acidity. Nice thick, concentrated texture.
Drink or hold. This will get even better with a few more years, but it’s really fantastic now, particularly if you like lots of fruit.

Sweet black cherry driven, boysenberries and all with a smooth finish. Good now but could get better with time.
