Consistent with previous notes. Decanted for two hours this time. This a big, bold and brawny Cab that's not for those seeking subtlety or layers in their wines. The finish is cigar box with a lasting and explosive finish of peppery spice.

Wow, decanted for 2 hours and this still seemed a bit off and unbalanced. First two were ok (but not spectacular). I think I’m going to write off getting and mor of these RSC. Too much of a hit/miss. Some are pretty good, but more often then not, they’re just “ok”. This is in that group.

Not bad, actually paired this with a very savory and very “overloaded with toppings” Pizza. With the crazy mix of everything on the pizza, and this wine, it was an excellent combination. The wind just came across a bit more smooth, polished and balanced. I’d keep this at a (generous) 89Pointer and a Very Good QPR.

Not bad, but not up to the recent “Appellation Series” from Rutherford & Howell Mountain. Nice, somewhat soft CS. Nice fruit, black fruit, plum and oak. Nice 89 Pointer and a Good QPR. No need to get any more though.

Decanted for one hour. Smooth on entry. Dark fruits and soft oak then explode in the mid palate, transitioning into a cedar/spice lasting finish. My first Robert Story and not disappointed. Good expressive Cab with a decent QPR. Recommended.
