  • This is a really rather pleasant, easy-drinking, 100% grillo, champagne alternative. The mousse is very fine and quite light. The nose is toasty, fruity. On the palate there's a reasonable balance of a slightly off-dry fruit with a touch of typical grillo bitterness. But the acidity is quite low. The finish is quite short. I would say this is at the sec end of brut.

For me this is an excellent party fizz - much better than the vast majority of proseccos for example. However, it is a little pricey at the ~US$28 that I paid. It is apparently available in other markets for around US$20, at which would be decent QPR.
