This wine has really transformed with age. Beautiful translucent ruby color. A very classic pinot noir nose. Sour cherry, lemon zest, petrichor/forest floor. Rooibos tea. Very bright and expressive on the nose, but the palate is more savory. Plum/sour cherry, earth, clay, more black tea than rooibos here. Very light body, m- tannin, m acid. The wine is perfectly balanced, and there's even a little umami peering through on the finish. This is a strong contender for my top FLX pinot noir, and a real proof of concept for aging these Ravines wines.

Medium garnet color; cranberry nose. Tart/sour cherry fruit up front, but lacking in complexity and depth. Not a bad wine by any means, but not up to the level of Pinots from more exalted terroirs.

Very impressive! Young but great. Bright red fruit hints of mushroom. Perfect balance of acidity. Even better second and third day.
Will age a long time
Will wait at least a year or two to try again

Somewhat flat tasting, no fruit of interest

Light, balanced, red-fruited pinot. Kinda like what I associate with Oregon, but without the lift.
