Light brown color. Aromas of cherry liqueur, balsamic vinegar and a touch of nail polish. Ripe, medium-bodied slightly sweet fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Surprisingly lithe and detailed on the palate. An outstanding match with the cheese course. At down side of its peak drinking period.

Dark red/black. Very alcoholic nose, dark chocolate and balsam. Tannic and hot in the mouth.
I am not able to evaluate this wine, not being a regular Amarone drinker.

Really good wine on its own or with cheese. Lingering sweetness makes it difficult to pair with cooked food
