  Dinner @ Shao Frankel + Blind Tasting: Dr Burklin-Wolf Spatburgunder “S” 1997 - not sure if it’s the same bottle as this search: Nose of red fruits, spices, peppers, oyster shell. Tasted red fruits, black fruits, tobacco, terroir, earth, soil, peppers. Complex. Balanced without edges. Enjoyed this thoroughly. In its prime. Surprise of the night - What a find!
