Lovely flavors. A great substitute for Pinot Noir. This is more of the French style than the Spanish style. It is sparkling garnet in color, lovely nose, no oak that I detect.

Meh. Very oaky and alcoholic scents, even with 15-20 minutes in the fridge. Probably around 65° or so. Very jammy, fruity, low acid, and pretty ripe. Too much to have with a basic burger. I don’t see this pairing with many foods due to the exaggeration of oak. Due to very little tannin and low acid, I don’t think this will have any promise in the future.

Had a fabulous tasting at the winery the Friday prior to Thanksgiving this year. Enjoyed the Grenache and thought it would be a great pairing for our Thanksgiving meal. Cabs tend to be a bit heavy with that meal and Pinots can be a bit light. The Grenache was the perfect match. Strawberry and raspberry on the nose with hints of saddle leather and black pepper. Nice finish for a wine with a very good structure. Enjoy or hold a bit. Check out @west_coast_wino on Instagram for more great recommendations, reviews and stories.

Nice wine, very clean and well crafted but never would have identified as a grenache.
