The first bottle I had a year ago matched a lot of the reviews I’ve read that were a little disappointed. This one was much better after a little time laying down. The tannic structure was much better and the overall meatiness of the wine improved. Nice fresh blue and red fruit with some vanilla and baking spices.

Light in color, thin in taste and overall disappointing. Purchased the 2014 and 2017 direct from the winery (was shut out on '18 & '19). Loved the 2014 and like other 2017's, this just falls flat.

This bottle was a major disappointment and not like other Pott NV I've had in the past. Decent flavors but that's about it. Tried to coax for over 2 days. !st day was fairly simple and sweet (totally embarrassed by a 2017 Hall 1873). The second day it balanced out better but had nothing you couldn't get in a $15-20 bottle. Simple, thin, no finish...blah. It's drinkable but life is too short for expensive box wine.
At this stage of its evolution this needs a nice 60-90 minute decant. We drank this over 2 hours and it was much better at the end. Score is based on how it was after being opened for a while. Could go higher with additional cellar time or proper decant.

Thin, lacking flavor, blah over 3 days. Couldn't coax much out of it. Ripped off at $60 -- there are better cabs at $20.
