Fresh green grass and lime on the nose. A medium weight body with a very nice balance of fruit and acidity. Surprisingly long finish. Great QPR and could be the beach wine of the summer....

This wine was served very cold, so I had to let it warm up to get to the heart of the flavors. Very pale in color, this 2018 upon opening has a strong nose of grass and citrus-grapefruit, followed by tart grapefruit on the palate – a 1-2 punch. Clear and fresh, it is a bit like digging into a half grapefruit with just a sprinkling of sugar on top. By day 2, this wine had mellowed into a very balanced, delicious Sauvignon Blanc with white peach and milder citrus aromas and flavors, with a slight bitterness on the finish. This would be a great value white for a hot summer day.

Not a bad Cali SB. Very drinkable. Has the typical grassy, lime flavor profile of Cal SB but you get an almost mineral, rustic finish not often seen in Cal SB. Much better with food then many Cali SB's at double the price.
