Nice mature zin at this point with dark sweet fuit and heavy body. Just pushing the border of being too raisony for me, but tasty with smaked BBQ spiced ribs.

Typical Zin nose; nothing exceptional here but overall a good zin. Fully resolved Tannins at this point, lush dark fruit with a little spice and pepper with more and more licorice at the back end as the night went on.

Zinfandels do not often have the word "elegant" in reviews. Laura's Zin's are very often elegant... and this Sonoma Zin is elegant. The glycerol silky mouth feel lasts to the very end. The balance of flavors is top notch. This Zin begins with a nose of dark lush fruts and hints of mint, pepper and spice...and a touch of chocolate. The fruit coats the mouth with nice tannins (enough Petite to build a fine sand castle structure). Just enough zing on the end that leaves the mouth with just enough tingle. Very nice.

Solid Dry Creek Zin. Should be better with another year of bottle age
