Two hour decant, this has a classic nose and a well structured palate of dark cherry, light pencil lead and a hint of cedar notes. Medium bodied with a fairly silky mouthfeel and a reasonable finish, a solid bottle with a solid QPR.

Deep ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with red plum, blackberry, blueberry, eucalyptus, vanilla and cloves. Medium taste of red plum, black cherry, eucalyptus, black pepper, vanilla and cloves. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A very good Pauillac. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

Decanted for one hour, with zero sediment. Very enjoyable pauillac, complex, evolving flavors over the three hours it took to consume. Initially there was a good dose of dominating French oak, this soon evolved revealing an array of lovely fruit ie raspberry, cranberry, dark cherry, balanced by a terroir of graphite, truffle, leather, finishing with hints of toasty French oak. Based on this bottle should drink well and even possibly improved for another five plus years.

Mørk rød Duft; frisk anslag med mørke bær av bla skogsbær, hint av blåbær, trevirke Smak; friskt anslag av syre, fin frukt av mørke bær og blåbær, modne markjordbær. Trevirke. Noe bitterhet mot slutten. Fin balanse. Lang.

Bit surprised at how light this was, perhaps explained by the surprising skew towards merlot (80% per back label). So a fruity profile with light, but not chewy tannin. Would go with lighter dishes, but not what I was expecting as a Pauillac.
FWIW the winemaker's spec sheet says it has 56% cab, but that doesn't seem right based on label and wine profile.
