Bought a 2016 after really enjoying the 2018 vintage. This showed a little less favorable with black plum and cherry fruit notes followed by old leather, peppercorn and tobacco. Ripe, chewy tannins and dry with a tart, lingering finish.

Consistent with past vintages. Moderate fruit and tannin. Med(-) body, excels as an inexpensive daily drinker Bordeaux. On par with 2014 and up a point from 2015. 89 pts or 3.7 stars.

5 year mark for this value Bordeaux. Blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc and 10% Cab Sauv, which I gave 2h of air. Pale ruby color. Aromas of dried strawberry, pomegranate, campfire, white pepper, bay leaf and a hint of leather. Red fruit on the palate, with a smoky, dusty middle, supported by fine-grained tannins. Shows some character and structure and, while nothing particularly above average, for the price it's a real pleaser.

Not a bruiser by any means, but maintains enough tannin, acidity to keep it. Rolling along. Tart and light ,will save the last bottle for summer 22'
