Volte face: I thought the last bottle was nice and I have another 6 bottles but after tonight's showing i am not looking forward to them. Too alcoholic and flabby, lacking acidity and freshness and unable to stand up to a salmon steak. A real disappointment and i am sure it has no room for improvement.

Appearance: pale yellow straw in color. Aroma: Pineapple, pear and honey on the nose with a hint of spice. Taste: Tart apple, pineapple and apricots on the palate. Dry wine with nice level of acidity. Flavor was mouth filling, finish was medium and the texture was buttery. With food this wine had an off dry aspect. Very intriguing.

Quite a deep gold colour for such a young wine. Mouth-filling. Apricot/peach almost off dry which I think is due to the 14% alcohol. Acidity and some underlying minerality make this an overall very nicely balanced wine. Had with salmon and beetroot and edemame salad. We liked it a lot.
