Brooding and powerfully rich, this blend definitely benefits from a long decant (as noted by others). You will be rewarded by bramble and cedar notes that flow into a lasting spicy finish. Good QPR.

Color: The deepest, most robust-full opaque, hairy Wookie brownish purple you’ve ever seen!
Nose: Cherry, plum, prune, black raspberry, apricot, and with a slight grassy note along with a whispering hint of tobacco. There is a leather quality that is softer and subtle, like the leather is well tanned. We also get hints of black licorice and smoke that finishes in a good odd way.
Taste: Mellow loveliness of rich berries, seasonal plums, cherries, and a super subtle mint finish. This is almost syrupy, in a good way of course, but a syrupy quality promoting flavors of cocoa, espresso, and a creamy mocha-equesc character that is wonderful all over the palate. The smooth, silky, voluptuous tannins are enough of a backbone to allow the wine to mellow into a breath-taking palate fading into exquisite warmth. Drink, Drink, Drink My Friends!!!
