This is still drinking well despite consensus being that it should be past it's best. Very Californian style Pinot, almost unrecognisable as Pinot to a Burgundy drinker but nevertheless very good. Huge fruit, very rounded, long finish.

Murky, purple. Starts out with almost chemical aromas, which fade after being in the decanter and glass for a couple of hours. Fair amount of acidity, which lasts throughout. Previous note hit it on the head - rhubard, some sweet red fruit. Finishes with a bit of pepper and spice. Have not had a pinot in some time, this was great.

Had everything there to be a great wine, but fell short. Drinkable, yes. Enjoyable, yes. Balanced, no. Lots of rhubarb, some decent spice, but quite acidic and all over the place.

Pungent nose of raspberry liquor...etoh very evident in nose and palate. Moderate acidity and out of balance to me. Not enjoyable.

agree with others notes. petroleum aroma up front on opening then became beboparuba rubharb pie juice. pleasant but price point way sobering.
