It must be the Petite Sirah that provides the structure to enable a Zin to survive well for this long. Perhaps the Carignane supports too. A pleasant wine with a surprising depth and body although definitely near the end of its life.

A real treat - feel lucky to have found it on WineBid - supple and jammy with black raspberry, zesty cinnamon, and mocha notes. Long and interesting.

Tannins still a bit strong but nice complex body on first night. Disappointing loss of flavors by 2nd night.

Better than when I last had it in June. A lovely, cohesive blend.

Nice dryness that paired well with pasta.
