  Decanted 30m. Cassis, pipe tobacco, juicy blueberry, cedar, cranberry, violets.
  
  Paired nicely with BBQd pork ribs.

  So....nearly 2 years after my last review in July 2021.
  Bottle #2 .
  On nose: pomegranate and blackberries.
  On palate: above notes enhanced, in addition to a tang of seville orange peel, coffee, a ghost of black pepper, with a velvety finish of ripe , red plum.
  With focused acidity, on a fullish - medium body .
  At 6 years of age, clearly improved.
  Played well with roast chicken, jasmine rice and kale/ carrot veg medley.

  Very nice. Paired with a nice rib eye. Full bodied, black fruit and integreted oak. Finely crafted and balanced wine. One of the nicest Arg. Malbec I've enjoyed. Will buy again.

  So...new vintage of this wine.
  On nose: notes of pomegranate, coffee, and oddly carmelized vanilla/ oak.
  On palate: all above flavours , as well as overripe blackberries , low acidity and a note of brick dust and minerals on the finish.....reminded me of a California Petite Syrah....very New World , soft , appealing to some , perhaps.....but not up to the excellence of the 2013 or 2015, reviewed previously ....not an ager...
