  • Litt sprikende, småfet og litt urtete ved åpning, men samlet seg fint innen en time i glasset og ble mer fokusert og elegant med sitron, hylleblomst, hint av popkorn og epler. Medium fyldig i munnen og lang utgang.

  • Beautiful aromas of hazel, tea and stone. Vanilla on the palate but acidity levels high currently and need alot more time to resolve. Will try on second day. Good potential.

Second day had with seafood pasta. The acidity softened a little from day before and complements the food very well. Aromatics of pear citrus and lime. Very nice and will give a few more years for next bottle

  • This was decanted in the fridge at the start of the morning and drunk in the late-afternoon/early evening. There was still a bit of reduction on the nose at first that dissipated with some swirling. As it uncoiled, it turned into an all-encompassing effort filling the glass up with deep tones of meyer lemons, red apples, pears, quince, warm oils, vanilla beans, acacia flowers, jasmine, toast, hazelnuts, and a touch of oak. The Medium/full bodied feel is deep and poised with tart, medium+ acidity. This greatly benefitted from the amount of air it got. The reduction was more significant when first poured into the decanter and it peeled back beautifully. This could use a few more years to shed some baby fat, but it does feel like a white burg that will be an earlier drinker.

  • Consumed over two days. Pale golden color. Nose starts off fat and tropical, as well as the palate, with milky oak, toast brioche, vanilla, with air and time open more lemon oil notes emerge which complement the richness. Hints of seashell, chalk, quince and amber honey are also present. For such a young wine drinks beautifully.
