Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • {500ml, screwcap, 18.5%} Crude caramel aromas. Burnt ones, really. I really can’t find much else here. Simple. Palate is a little better structurally, with a nice balance of acid and warmth. Caramel, honey, some cold tea. It’s perhaps a little raw but it does build your confidence in 10- and 15- year old versions from McWilliams, even if it’s not all that endearing itself. Medium weight, patchily uneven but nicely warm finish of medium length. So-so.
