This is just a nice balanced cab. Not super complex but has nice cherry and currant fruit, with some chocolate and cedar notes. Some spicy undertones as well. For the $$ ($23) this is a value winner and a great wine that doesn't try to do to much. Should drink nicely for the next 2-3 years, but won't gain a ton of complexity.

Tasted at Josh and Angela's with burgers. This was slightly (but not horribly)cooked, but showed very well for a cooked wine. Lots of fruit (if slightly stewed from the cooking), and good structure. I need to try one that isn't baked.
