(Potel Nicolas Nuits St.Georges Les Pruliers) A tight nose with an undercurrent of bright red fruit. Powerful but with fine tannins and super intense mid-palate. There is just a little oak-derived bitterness on the long finish, but this will quickly fade. Sauve and accomplished for a Nuits

Showing young and vibrant with minerality and fruit both on nose and palate. More black cherry into cassis comes across than any earthiness or burgundy funk. So I'd say more modern than anything. Tannins are fine and don't take anything away. Nothing fancy, just a great compliment for simple broiled Salmon.
