Ruby colour with a purple tone. Intense and vivid, this is quite complex with black fruit, cedary oak and sweet spice followed by nice leathery, rubbery flavours. Classy with a sound structure and a well balanced palate with lots of black fruit complemented with a peppery, spicy finish.

Not blind.
Green pepper and chalk superb nose. Classic Stellenbosch
Nice and smooth but having had this many times and this Ian now past the peak. Not gone or dead but not at its peak.
I must drink these before they are 10 years old.

Chalky nose and both fruity cassis mid palate and a dry finish. Finish shorter than I had hoped.

Good fruit and structure. Silkt tannins, drinking nicely right now. Black current and peppar and nice acid structure.
