Nose: Pepper, The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cranberry, raspberry, strawberry jam and black pepper. It tastes like cranberry, raspberry, raisin and flint. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine has medium acidity.

Didn't care as much for the 2016 version of this, just a bit too extracted (not rated for that reason). But this version is another story. On opening it was a bit challenging so sent it down the Vinturi. That really smoothed out the rough edges. Great peppery notes, which we love, some slightly sweet spiciness with decent tartness to keep it interesting. Classic Russian River Valley Pinot with red fruit - cherry and cranberry. Agree with previous notes that this compares to much more pricey RRV Pinots. Regarding specifically Dehlinger, this is different, not better/worse. Dehlinger is much bolder and deeper. This Lynmar is lighter. Think it just depends on your preference in the moment.

Intense red fruit on the nose and palatte. Cherry, raspberry and red current flavors dominate. Well integrated tannins and balanced acidity yielding a medium to long silky finish with soft spices. Great pairing with the Thanksgiving dinner.

Agree with recent tasting notes. Classic RRV pinot. Big cherry but well balanced. Paired well with grilled salmon night one and pork chops night two.

This wine has evolved very well. Plums and cherry fruit flavors. Fully integrated tannins. Balanced with a long finish.
