My favorite 2003 White Burgundy is starting to show it's age. Since this is a lower-acid vintage that's not good. Still, it was enjoyable with some nuttiness but missing the verve of previous bottles.

Excellent '03 white burgundy. Nice acidity with zesty nose right off the bat. Medium bodied, with medium coloring as well. Quite approachable, as most of the '03 whites I have tried have been, with nice tropical fruit, apple and oak. Oak was a bit strong at first, but subtled over time. Good fruit, with nicely integrated components. Let it breathe for about 30 minutes before drinking. Nice summer wine.

From memory... Pale straw color, round in the mouth bursting with lemon peel and granny smith apple. Not overtly oaky could use a touch more acid, (my personal preference.)
