Fruity with a serious side, but never really came together into a coherent wine. Some austerity and then some exuberance, some cheapness and then some very fine detail. Oak on the nose after popping but then didn't feel it that heavy afterwards. My guess is this is young and needs time--maybe 2-5 years--to peak, and it will represent a good value and a very good wine (but probably never an excellent one).
