13.5% ABV from Valle D'Aosta. Slightly fizzy hazy palate - which blind I would have placed as coming from high altitude in Mornington Peninsula - but not as ripe . Tannin and alcohol on the high side - this is not a shy wine but neither is it a fruit bomb (too cool terroir for that and not extracted like some Cali Pinot). This is quite fine, has the structure to last. Still young right now, showing nice loganberry fruit. At this age this is still quite simple, with average length on the palate.

Ample oak nuance that is not over-the-shoulder, Enough body but not overly extracted and fermented (13.5%) (I am stating these two above just because this is from vallee d'aoste, and some might worry that this is under-ripe acidic and austere juice. It is definitely not, ripe to the perfect degree, and not damn over-ripe like those non-sense mediocre napa pinots.) Great fruit intensity, mostly with red berries Fantastic minerality with ashes and spices
Damn, this is perfectly drinkable today, and is very much complete. Again, I LOVE this bottle.
If you like baden pinots, or some premium alsace pinots with low enough yield, - I mean, if you know anything about real wines - you are gonna love this wine.
