Strawberry and something earthy on the nose. On the palate, raspberry, red cherry, and notes of pomegranate, cola, and vanilla on the medium to long finish, with light tannins and moderate acidity; a slight bitterness shows on the finish that I usually associate with European wines. The Cellartracker drinking window may be a few years too short. This was a good value at a little under $60.
The epitome of smooth delicious California pinot noir. 1st class, top shelf, well crafted wine. Competes with the best pinot noirs anywhere worldwide. Outstanding. 298 cases.

Not my favorite Carneros pinot - I picked up more black tea and spearmint and not enough lip-smacking fruit.

This was similar to a previous bottle, but without the touch of bitterness that I found before. It's still a very good value at under $60.
