  As soon as I took the cork out, it smelled like lipstick. Then I got aromas of sour cherry, petroleum, black pepper, black tea and lots of alcohol. A few minutes later, it smelled like rotten eggs or sewer. Shortly after that, it smelled like ripe cherries.
  Very short finish on the mouth (actually, the shortest I can remember), very tannic and a slightly bitter cough medicine-like taste.
