The richest and most concentrated fruit in any Zinfandel that I have tasted that was sourced from the Sierra foothills. Rich black fruit on the nose, and tell-tale iron terroir on the finish. Yum.

Smell : sandalwood, "red wine" ... Not much to latch on to. Taste: plum , tad thinner than our faves but not thin. oak , some tannin but smooth, bit of a grippy finish. Smell is more fruity than woody. R: liked it
