Fresh, zesty, and very complex. Probably the best 2018 1er Cru I’ve had.

2018 was a warm year but this still retains freshness and energy. Typical chalky and citrus notes on the nose and enough complexity on the palate to justify its £30+ price tag. I liked this a lot, both with food and on its own. Could age another good few years but I’d say it’s in a lovely place right now.

Por copas. Simple pero eficaz primer cru. Ciertamente firme y ácido. Carece de mineralidad pero al mismo tiempo tiene una buena longitud. Luces y sombras. Me gustaría más cuerpo y esencia.

Mineralsk næse, der virkelig dufter af østersskaller, grønne æbler, honningmelon og et lille dryp tabasco-spice. Munden er herlig saftig, som 2018'erne generelt er den bred og moden, næsten tropisk, men alligevel kølig, mineralsk og sprød, mundvandsdrivende syre. Den balance er god. Simpel drikkeglæde nu men nogle års kompleksitet vil gøre den godt
