Still big and not fading but, nothing special about this wine, dark black raspberry notes and high on the acidic side. I paid to much $44 concidering some of the great Zins that I have and have drank that were much less. I won't by it again.

Color is good, with no rim variation on the age of the wine. Nose holds lots of blackberry and raspberry. The wine has a well balanced nose, the alcohol and fruit are in tune. Considering the alcohol content it is very pleasurable. On the palette the blackberry continues, with some good acidity, but not overwhelming. The balance continues throughout. Overall a good Zinfandel.

BIG!!! This is in the style of an overripe fruit bomb, but it manages to pull it off while maintaining some complexity and some semblance of balance. Very slightly verges on pruny, this has plum and raspberry with some cedar and just enough acidity carrying it on the finish. Went great with Thanksgiving turkey and cranberry sauce. Others liked this more than I.

Selby's top of the line Zin, the OVZ Bobcat, is another fine effort. Although not of the quality of the blockbuster 2001, this is a fruit forward, deep ruby, intense cherry dominated wine. Fun to drink on its own, sans food, while watching a movie.

really big fruit, dark color. Very smooth on the palate. This could be a good every day drinker.
