  Wow, what a nose. Difficult to describe, to say the least. It smells sweet, but waxy. Is that lanolin? Old ladies' perfume. Overripe star fruit. This is quite full bodied and overtly sweet. The wild ride continues on the palate with more super ripe star fruit, mirabelle and enough acidity to keep it from being cloying. I'm not so sure I love this, but boy is it interesting. Too fat and round and sweet for me (this really tastes like an Auslese, but I'll give this a decent score on the flamboyance of it all. 91
