  PnP, mellow citrus, mineral and white flowers on the nose. More expressive on the palate with rich honeyed citrus, ripe cooked apple/pear and a hint of ground almond. Quite noticeable residual sugar, feels like more than the proclaimed 10-12g/L. Then again this isn’t the soaring acidity style of Vouvray, which may be down to the vintage (I got a similar impression of softness from the 2018 Cuvée Silex). Lacking some complexity. Might open up with more air, but considering the lower acidity I wouldn’t bet on this wine for the long run. Keep for up to 5 years. Overall good QPR.
