  • Oaky fruit explosion! Deep Ruby in colour. Medium tannic, medium to low acidity, full body and since Zinfandel is pretty dominant, it has some pretty remarkable sweetness to it. Decanting of 60 minutes definitely helped this guy to shine beautifully. On the nose as well as on the pallet lots of sweet jam and plum and subtle oaky vanilla notes. Everything was well balanced and in harmony, the finish was pretty intense and long too. Usually I always go for dry wines, but this one was a very pleasant change.

  • Fresh fruit nose with just a touch of burnt wood. Entry is candy sweet, good weight throughout. A bit of chocolate and plum. Decently fine tannins at the finish with a fair bit of tobacco. This is new world straightforward but decently done.

  • Is it my imagination or is it candy apple red like a California car. Bright color nevertheless. Nose of fruit rollup with just a touch of sweet wood. Entry is candy sweet, extremely tasty and easy to drink. Like a fruit rollup really. Some nice tasty notes mid mouth with some spice towards the end. All well placed classic sweet California with enough complexity to identify it as a more interesting and better Napa. If this is your "cup of tea" then it does not disappoint.
