Very popular in our small group, whom I would describe as wine drinkers but not experts. Full of fruit. Nice balance & easy drinking. Rich bouquet. Would definitely buy again.

Ruby red color. Cherries, raspberries, kirsch on the nose with a bit of licorice and wet earth. Medium body with very soft, ripe tannins and low acidity. Ripe cherries and crushed berries on the palate with a bit of pepper. A bit short on the finish with the cherries and berries giving way to a bit of oak. A bit too soft to go with food, but nice to sip on while making dinner.

Not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a good, solid bottle of Aussie red, and for *about* $13.00 locally, can't be beat for a quality "house wine."

Drink now! It's starting to lose its fruit, but is still nice.
