Has really held up well, becoming a deep amber color. Still a little crispy tingly finish on the tongue, but aromas and flavors of caramel and honey offset with some acidity.

We picked this off the list at Plainfield's Mayur on Saturday night. Paired with an assortment of Indian nibbles-- dahi wada, bhel puri, baingan bharita, and tomato-coconut soup. No notes-- just general impressions. There was the faintest hint of petrol on the nose, but the nose was still fresh and youthful and mostly about the fruit. On the palate, it was fuller, sweeter, and oilier in texture than I'd expect from a Kabinett. It drank more like a Spatlese. Regardless, it was a good match with a wide range of assertively-flavored dishes.
