PnP. FRUIT BOMB. Simple, crowd pleasing modern American style Red. Nose is pleasing with cigar box and ripe fruit. Length goes on for a minute. Medium bodied. Oak is strong. This will appeal to big red drinkers (think a Cabernet version of Prisoner). Will pair well with hard cheese, well marbled ribeye steaks, burgers. No change or increased complexity/texture after 90 min decant

I'm more positive about this wine than most, I think because I don't really love the in-your-face style of CA cab. This is quite feminine, very red-fruited, some light oak or cedar. Tannins are long gone. I can see why some find it watery, and it is quite light texturally. But I found enough to be be interested over two nights. Still, at $30, not the best QPR.

A bit disappointing actually. I was anticipating this wine access version to be better than it is. Light body and taste in our opinion. Maybe try again in two years

Fairly Bordeaux-like. Not my favorite style but it’s a good quality wine. Didn’t love it.
Dusty, red fruits, and old world nose with some funk. Palate has lots of red fruits (cherries, slightly sweetened cranberries), earthiness, wood, reminds me of an old bookstore. Tannins are present but fairly smooth, medium acid, and medium/full body.
Not what I’m looking for in a Napa Cabernet. Happy to have tried it but probably won’t buy again.
Edit: thought about this some more, and it's not very good. Bumped down to 89. Would not recommend if you're looking for traditional Napa Cabernet. Even then, this is a bit messy on the nose and the finish.

Very drinkable, medium tannins and acidity. This opened up and was better the next day so I will consider decanting the next bottle.

Decanted 4 hours and needed it.
