A credible 2nd wine from Ch. Latour-Martillac. Quite angular. Drinkable now but will benefit from a few more years of aging. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon according to https://www.latourmartillac.com/en/millesimes/chateau-lacroix-martillac-red-2015/.

A little thin on the palate, some smoke/toast but not enough of the Pessac gravel/earthy character that can make wines from this area stand out. Acceptable but unexciting. You can do better.

Nose: Plum and soil. Palate: Dark cherry with gritty dirt and gravel; soft tannins that build with some time on the palate.
