  • The nose has strong notes of citrus, but also hints of sweeter tropical fruit. These follow through to the palate which is very crisp, with medium+ acidity. The finish is quite long, with a small hint of bitterness, but also echos of the tropical fruits.

This is basically a SB in the New World style, nicely done; slightly less one-dimensional than generic New Zealand SB for example.

Multiple high ratings from various publications notwithstanding, I'm not convinced it's better enough to be a repeat buy with a price tag of ~US$24 though.
