  • Very similar to the 2016 Vintage. In my 2016 tasting notes I had described the wine as "Rich dark fruits, nicely balanced, smooth and a nice juicy finish that lingers in your palate". All still applies. Nice, ready to drink Cab.

  • Inky in color with a short reddish rim.

Nice nose of black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, chocolates, light vegetables, pencil lead, coffee, earth, herbs and black pepper.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, tobacco, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, leather, earth, dark coffee, pencil lead, bitter herbs, green vegetables, beef jerky and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with fine tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Fruit forward with a Bordeaux feel. Spicy and interesting. I really enjoyed the nose here.

Good right out of the bottle, and gets earthier as it opens up. Much better after 2 hours of airtime. Would be interesting to try it in 3 to 5 years.

A good food wine that will pair nicely with lamb dishes. Paired well with the Brie cheese.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 22 months in French oak barrels (93% new).

    15% alcohol by volume.

    91 points.

    $55.

  • Dark purple almost black in the glass. nose. black fruit blackberry and raisin with a hint of spice and minerality.. palate. smooth.crisp tannic on finish.. medium acidicy, blackberry . spice and minerality not as much as expected or "normal" for red mountain but still present.. this is in drink now mode. finished with hints of caramel and smoke. will be interesting to see what this does in a year or two even though it is ready to drink now
