Light straw/gold color, no sediment, but a bit dull in lustre. Moderate nose of toasted oak and ghee. Typical, oak-dominated palate that has a little lemony citrus to bounce off the wood. Doesn't have all the buttery texture of Rombauer and the like, nor much in the way of mineral and acidic structure. Drink now or give away. 4+9+13+6= 82

There are always some wines that serve as proof that good grapes can make a less than good wine...maybe, the bottle I got hold of wasn't indicative of the wine. But, for RR Chardonnay this was didn't hit any of the marks when tasted.
