  Bottle breathe for 1 hour. Expressive nose with violet and tropical fruit, the palate is vibrant yet offering some complexity with wood, smoke and loads of fruit at the same time. Some tea and herbs after 1.5 hours in the glass. Energetic wine that could enjoy when it’s still young

  Medium deep ruby color. Deep almost peaty on nose with dried blackberry, blackcurrant, vanilla and (surprisingly) black peppery on the finish. Dry, rounded acidity, chocolate tannins, palate follows through. Medium deep body. Very good balance (peatiness a bit distracting). Long finish. More power than flower in this Burgundy, more Bordeaux LB like (for which I’d give this a 94).
