  • Nice garnet color. Good Sangiovese aromatics - dusty cherries, old wood, leather, eucalyptus. Medium bodied, with nice tight acidity, lending a good minerality on the finish. Nice red cherries and spices linger. Definitely better with food, as most Chiantis are. Very nice!
    As for longevity - this has got some life ahead of it, for sure, though it is very drinkable now with a good decant. If you have some, I'd wait another year or two.
