  Clear medium ruby; clean medium nose of cassis, green pepper and baking spices; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; medium alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of black licorice; long finish; tastes more like a cab franc; very concentrated - not overly sour; not made for big juicy steak
