  • Sometimes you find some interesting things at Total Wine, such as a Pinot Noir from Uruguay.

Pale garnet with a pale salmon rim. Sweet cranberry, raspberry, and mild oak spices on the nose. Light bodied, high acidity, and presents dry. Cranberry, tart sour cherry, tart raspberry on the palate. Very light smooth tannins. Medium-short astringent finish of lemon zest, black pepper, slate, and cherry pit.

This presented in its own unique way and hard to compare. Simple, refreshing, and reasonably well put together. Worth trying out once in my opinion. Would probably not buy again though – it is a bit too expensive for it is.
